Family Camps Foster Warm Relationships and Reduce Violence within Families
On October 25-26, 2023, the Community Family Foundation branch in Phuket organized family camps to enhance warmth and relationships within families and to reduce the use of violence in resolving family issues. The camps aimed to raise awareness among family members about the importance of the family institution and to understand their roles and responsibilities within the family structure.
During the event, parents gained insights into effective child-rearing practices driven by love and understanding. Children and adolescents exhibited admirable consciousness, demonstrating respect and refraining from resorting to violence in problem-solving situations.
The target group included 75 individuals from 29 families across five areas: Pa Tong, Ratsada, Thepkasattri, Kathu, and Cherng Talay. The camps were held at the A2 Pool Resort.
These family camps serve as valuable platforms for nurturing healthy family dynamics, fostering mutual understanding, and cultivating harmonious relationships among family members. Such initiatives are instrumental in building resilient and violence-free communities ❤️
