Community Campaign "Stop Violence with Love"

On Sunday, November 19, 2023, Mr. Amnuai Pinsuwan, Deputy Governor of Phuket Province, chaired the opening ceremony of the campaign "Stop Violence with Love," aimed at ending violence against children, women, and human trafficking. The event took place at Queen Sirikit Park, Thalang Road, Phuket, and was attended by more than 250 participants, including representatives from the government, private sector, and local communities. 

During the event, Dr. Itthichot Kularatnachote, Public Prosecutor of Phuket Province, delivered a report on the current situation of violence and prevention strategies. Mr. Supphiphat Anurak, Director of Social Development and Human Security of Phuket Province, also gave a speech emphasizing the importance of protecting the rights of children and women and preventing human trafficking.

Mr. Amnuai Pinsuwan, Deputy Governor of Phuket Province, urged everyone to take care of children and women and to refrain from using violence, emphasizing that "love conquers all."

The campaign, organized by the Community Family Foundation, Phuket branch, in collaboration with various stakeholders, aimed to raise awareness about the importance of addressing various forms of violence in society and preventing human trafficking. The event included activities such as distributing campaign materials, interactive discussions, games, and performances by children, youth, and community leaders.

Through this campaign, the organizers aimed to foster a better understanding of the issues related to violence and human trafficking and encourage all sectors to actively participate in addressing these challenges.

The campaign also included a street campaign where small teams held placards and engaged with pedestrians, conveying messages to end violence against children, women, and human trafficking in Thai, Chinese, and English.
