Prevent Violence Against Children, Women, and Families
On September 20, 2023, the Community Family Foundation branch in Phuket convened a meeting of the vigilance group to prevent violence against children, women, and individuals in families. The meeting took place at the municipal meeting room in Kathu Municipality to discuss and analyze issues related to violence against children and women. The gathering aimed to support and stimulate work and vigilance to prevent and address violence within families.
The meeting focused on planning strategies for the vigilance group to play a role in preventing and addressing family violence. It also emphasized the importance of reporting and assisting in crisis situations within the community. The event aimed to strengthen volunteer work in mental health.
Participants included representatives from vigilance groups from various sub-districts such as Talat Yai, Chalong, Talat Yai, Phuket City, Patong, Kathu, and Thepkasattri. The collaborative effort reflects the commitment of the community to combat violence against vulnerable members and to foster a safe and supportive environment for all. ♥️♥️✋
